No social media for 3 months I only got off of Facebook because that was the only social media I had (still don’t really use much—is Reddit considered “social media”?). One day in March or April, I I got off social media a few years ago and was off for about 18 months. It's a way for teens to connect and express themselves. I deleted Facebook, Twitter, Instagram three days ago (I deleted Tiktok last February) but it has been giving me anxiety that I might be missing out on my friends' life. But equally, the world of social media turned just as easily for a month without knowing what was going on in my life, and this has made me more aware of the purpose of my posts going forward.
